The presence of external paint deposits and deep scratches on a sleek black car can be an unwelcome sight for any car owner. Recently, we had the opportunity to restore a Honda Vezel Hybrid that had fallen victim to a minor road mishap, resulting in damage to the rear left passenger door and rear left wing. With the owner’s desire to have the car back within two days, we embarked on a quick restoration project.
Given the urgency expressed by the owner, our primary focus was to expedite the repair process without compromising on the quality of the restoration. The first day proved to be crucial as we tackled the essential tasks of body repair and preparation to get the panels ready for paint later.
The panels were repaired and prepared for paint
Basecoat (colour code: crystal black pearl) was applied and then clearcoat followed while blending into the front left passenger door to ensure the perfect colour match.
Our commitment to perfection didn’t end with the final coat of paint. To achieve an impeccable showroom finish, our team dedicated additional time to perform corrective buffing and detailing on the second day.
These meticulous procedures eliminated any imperfections, leaving the surface smooth and enhancing the overall appearance of the Honda Vezel Hybrid.
