This VW Touareg was admitted to our body shop for specialized paint correction to fix scratches on the body. After assessment, it was recommended that the front bumper be repainted and the wheels as well. The wheels had been repainted before and the paint was coming apart in a few places. The black plastic trims dotting the exterior of the vehicle all around were also added to the paint job list as they were showing signs of wear and had dulled. As always, we never fail to include our special steam detailing to cap off the ultimate detail experience!
We started off with paint work so that everything else would happen later. This was split into three stages where we painted the front bumper in Terra Grey metallic first followed by the black plastic panels and then lastly the wheels were removed from the vehicle for painting.
With painting done, we commenced on an arduous paint correction to fix the scratches that were on all the vehicles sides. None of the scratches worked their way into the colored pigment layer of the paint and this allowed for the perfect correction.
Lastly we finished off with #steamdetailing for that showroom experience all over again for a car that is 15 years old now.
